Friday, August 15, 2008 is 1 Chuen (Monkey): We often relate a beginning to childhood, the time of exploration and discovery. The inner child qualities of Chuen give us infinite possibility. Perhaps this day is one for allowing ourselves the bigger picture by opening our eyes and seeing all the options.
Use caution as you open yourself to greater perception. Sometimes our primal wants and unfulfilled needs can come disguised as a vision from the heart. Sometimes our mind steps in to guide us back to what it perceives as “safe”. The ego, oh great ego, is a powerful force. It should not be destroyed, for it serves us well, but understood and maintained in its rightful place.
What do you focus on in creating your dream, and how do you know you are heading in the right direction? Today I find the answer to this question is completeness, that which serves you on every level: body, mind, emotion, and spirit. I believe that this cycle will focus on our holistic wellbeing, and each day a new level of this cycle will unfold. I welcome this cycle with an open mind, heart, and open arms.
