Mayan Daily Insights: Our Qualities, Virtues, and Values

Saturday, September 6, 2008 is 10 Ben (Reed):  Ten is the day of completion or manifestation.  In this cycle it is teamed with Ben, the reed.  Ben is one of the least understood of the Mayan Tzolkin glyphs. 

Today I find the understanding of perception, that we cannot always understand the bigger picture, especially from the viewpoint of the moment.  I see what appears as a ribbon waving through the universe, somehow connected yet largely unseen.  The ripple of energy flows through this ribbon, reminding us that action brings reaction.  Nothing is without purpose, and though we may not see or understand that which comes to us it still can serve us.  In fact we have the day of servitude yet to come in this cycle.  What this cycle means to us is yet to be disclosed.
