Wednesday, September 17, 2008 is 8 Kan (Seed, Lizard): It’s time to breath again. Today we come out of the wide-open darkness of Akbal, and are given the opportunity to begin again.
We think so often that birth is our only beginning, but we have many steps in life and our awakening. One Caban was the birth of this cycle, four Ahau gave us our journey into adolescence. Today, eight Kan, gives us our first step into our maturity in this cycle. This also means we need to get busy, and turn our attentions inward.
