Saturday, October 25, 2008 is 7 Ik (Wind). Today is the highlight or highest point of this cycle. The number seven is often described as a spiritual number. There are the seven chakras, and some say there are seven spiritual levels to achieve in this lifetime.
Ik brings us life, the breath and the movement that is required to achieve the state of breathing. Without it we are only lifeless lumps of clay, carbon and an assortment of trace elements.
So what does the wind bring to us? There is the movement of the body, with action and reaction. But we also have our consciousness, the ability to be aware not just of the events but our responses. We have the ability to think outside our own little world. Awareness is a gift, and may be the greatest gift of all in our evolution.
