Sunday, October 19, 2008 is 1 Cib (Vulture). The vulture is a majestic, seemingly magical bird. I’ve watched them as they return to their roost, and they appear to float quite motionless at times. Their awareness centers around transition and transformation.
This may appear to be a bit of a negative way to start the cycle. The last cycle was similar, starting with Akbal, the night. Needless to say the cycle had many dark events, with economic crisis monopolizing the headlines.
This cycle has the potential of continuing those darker days. For us to rely on the physical events as our only guidance it may appear very dark indeed.
Many supports will come into play in this cycle though, showing us that things are not always as they appear. We do indeed choose our focus, and in doing so we indirectly choose what we attract to us.
