Thursday, November 27, 2008, is 1 Men (Eagle). Today in the U.S. we have Thanksgiving, an American celebration of life. In the Mayan calendar today is the beginning of a new 13 day number cycle and the energy of Men, the eagle. How can I be of service?
In the life cycle we begin as an infant. By nature we are helpless and vulnerable, as well as selfish. As we mature we must at some point turn our attention elsewhere. We must learn to be of service.
Service holds within it the dichotomy of giving and receiving. While we often think of services as self-less, service also holds the power to define and refine. We truly do reap what we sow. It all begins with our thoughts and the breath that propels those thoughts outward.
On this day of thanksgiving we have the power to reflect on those things we are grateful for, and by doing so we inspire the universe to respond. The universe always answers in the same vibration which is offered.
