Mayan Daily Insights: How We Learn About Ourselves, One Day At A Time

Saturday, November 15, 2008 is 2 Akbal (Night, House).  Welcome to the terrible two’s!  Alright it is not that bad.  Two gives us duality and the division between pleasure and pain.  Two gives us choice.  This is a blessing, not a curse.

As we turn to Akbal, the energy of night, we must face ourselves.  We must make decisions as to what we are doing and find our purpose.  We must find our purpose.  The days to come must have some direction, with the guidance of the wind that inspired us only just yesterday.

Nearly every day we are faced with decisions.  Some are as simple yet perplexing nonetheless.  Success comes in refining our direction down to the one pathway which serves our purpose.  There it is again, that pesky concept of purpose!
