Thursday, December 4, 2008, is 8 Ik (Wind). The wind is a powerful tool, both creative and destructive. We never see the wind itself, only the affect it has on others. So the wind, in a sense, is one of the darker elements, though it should not be feared.
Tomorrow comes the influence of Akbal, the night. On these two days do not hold your breath (aka your wind), but understand that it carries both that which fills you, and that which you release. You breath without thought, but when that breath is disturbed you certainly focus on it.
“Just because you cannot see me does not mean I do not exist”, states the influence of Ik, the wind. So it is with our creations. Our efforts may not show results but we must continue to have faith, and hold a clear image of the desired outcome. Don’t let your eyes deceive you, leading you to believe that we only have what we can see.
