Mayan Daily Insights: Our Qualities, Virtues, and Values

Wednesday, December 24, 2008 is 2 Ik (Wind). Yesterday we took our first step into our new adventure, though at first we may not have much consciousness of this shift. Today the wind of Ik breathes life into the structure we have created.

Without breath we cannot animate. Without animation we cannot learn and grow.

The wind travels freely, emulating spirit. When we bring free movement into a space of confinement, such as the body, there is some level of resistance and tension. The two can cohabitate, can’t they?

Tomorrow we will explore the awareness of the duality we find as spirit and body come together. Viva la difference!
