Thursday, December 25, 2008, is 3 Akbal (Night, House). Today is Christmas day, a day celebrated for its spiritual content by some, and its commercial content by many. Akbal contributes to this day by focusing on the inward journey, to turn inward and remember there is more than the day.
The Mayan Tzolkin was created, or mapped, long before the time related to Christmas. The spiritual inflection is there nonetheless.
I attended a lecture given by an Elder and Chief of one of the larger tribes in Washington State. This man has been a spokesperson not just for the native American cultures but the connectivity between all teachings throughout the world. While I speak of Christmas in this posting, I observe the open-minded vision that there are many paths.
On this day of Akbal, given the influence of the trilogy, let us recognize not just the support offered to us, but our role in that alliance. Three is demonstrated so often as a powerful number. We have body mind and spirit. We have been taught Father Son and Holy Spirit. The native shaman teaches us of the three levels of the world. Even within the duality of our world we find a trio: we have our earth walk, we have our spiritual guidance, and for those two to manifest we have you in the place where heaven and earth meet.
This posting contains a clairvoyant interpretation of the Mayan Tzolkin Calendar, a spiritually focused calendar, presented by Estee Taschereau through her venue YinYangPower.com. Private Spiritual Reading Sessions are available by phone.
