Monday, December 15, 2008, is 6 Ben (Reed). One thing we know about the reed is that it holds flexibility, able to bend and sway with the wind. The quality of the reed, Ben, carries over into our human walk on this world.
Growing is not something that flips on and off like a light switch, where we are one person one day and completely different the next. Instead it is a flowing, a gentle reweaving that integrates the old and the new. We have our spurts, growing in leaps and bounds, nature has its way of balancing things out.
We continue our preparation for the next 260 day cycle. The calendar quickens now with every step we take, with that inward spiral toward the 2012 shift. Many of us seek, not to be something different, but to understand who they are and create a bridge to their next step in life. Tomorrow we bring in the energy of seven Ix, where some of those questions may find answers. In the meantime: bend it, don’t break it, and allow to guide you the future as well as the past .
