Thursday, January 1, 2009, is 10 Oc (Dog). Oc, the dog, reminds us of our loyalty. We practice the art of loyalty all the time, in our relationships and careers. We commit to our chosen tasks.
Sometimes when we are faced with our own creations we turn our backs and say, “this is not what I want”. Have we forgotten that we chose the steps? Oc reminds us to face that which is contained within our inner world. Your relationship with your own life is basic and fundamental, and our occasional disdain is based on a faulty perception. It’s never as bad as it appears.
“Do not turn your back on yourself. Alliance within self is the greatest strength you have”. Perhaps our connectivity with self is relational to our connectivity with our support, but that is a whole other story.
