In the Mayan Daily Insights, Thursday, January 29, 2009, is 12 Edznab (Flint). What a gift we have, this ability we often describe as an opening. It is described in so many ways: we open our eyes, open our hearts; we walk in with an open mind, and we rejoice in our ability to open doors.
We have the ability to see what is before us in a whole new light. This gift was discussed yesterday. Isn’t it incredible that we can take something as tiny as a spark and set fire to our entire way of thinking? Dare we call this our evolution? For some it is called a revolution, taking our own vision, our own spark, and igniting that spark in others.
This is a mixed blessing, this awakening. As I sit here in the awareness of today’s message I see that volumes could be written on this subject, far more than I could, or should write about at this time. Let’s just leave it at this one final thought.
We cannot help but see the world through our own eyes. No matter how much we are molded and directed we still see the world through our own eyes. We cannot help but carry that spark, it is so deeply engrained within us. The spark may seem to be ignited by others, but awareness can only come about by our own insight. Look into the eyes of another as they reach a realization and you will see the spark. Appreciate the feelings inspired within you as you witness the gift we all carry once again brought to life.
I feel we must carry forward the message of yesterday and again say, “What a wonderful world”.
