Thursday, January 22, 2009, is 5 Chuen (Monkey). Chuen has such an adventurous nature, and the outward expansion that comes so naturally is welcomed today with open arms.
The impression that is offered today in the spirit of Chuen is far from profound, or perhaps it is so simple hearted that it is deep. Chuen simply shrugs her shoulders, unwilling to fall into the trappings of the mind, for she knows that thinking often takes the fun out of living. Sometimes we have action that takes place for no good reason. Who said everything we do must have a reason? Why must everything be so “thought out” and controlled? We bind ourselves with our rules and reasons to the point that it’s a miracle we can breathe!
So today we celebrate the spirit of Chuen, the monkey, who reminds us that sometimes we do things just for the experience. Let us celebrate the trivial, with that silly grin that reaches all the way into our soul.
This posting contains a clairvoyant interpretation of the Mayan Tzolkin Calendar, a spiritually focused calendar, presented by Estee Taschereau through her venue YinYangPower.com. Private sessions by phone can be scheduled for a view of your transition into the new paradigm.

I’ll offer another thought on this day, something that became clearer as the day progressed. I started the day very much on the Chuen wavelength, but felt tired and distracted throughout the morning. What I did accomplish did not feel so “accomplished”. Later in the day I worked with a teaching partner, but still felt that tugging feeling that I wanted to be somewhere else. Finally, through our focused meditative work I cleared out a block in my thought processes. I felt content in the moment and much happier.
I remembered that Chuen may carry the inner child, but it also carries that part of us that wants to remain child-like. Distraction is a powerful tool in the hands of a child!
I welcome your stories, and how you experienced the playful energy of chuen!
