Wednesday, February 25, 2009, is 13 Chicchan (Serpent). Today we bring together the magical presence of the number thirteen with the dance. Chicchan gives us a creative high, and many have commented an amazing flow in their work at this time. Some attribute it to the alignment of the planets, giving credit to Neptune. While there may be contribution by the stars, I must point out that without our willing participation this serge of creativity would be nothing more than a possibility. This is the miracle of the connection between body and spirit, form and consciousness.
On this earth we have the raw materials for our expression of creativity. This goes far beyond the resources that we are depleting or destroying. There is also the element of time, and the ability to bring thought into form. The physical is a vessel for our spiritual expression. Its amazing how much we take this miracle for granted. Today, in the spirit of Chicchan, let us give honor to our ability to create by honoring those simple things like a snap of the fingers or blink of the eye.
