Friday, February 13, 2009, is 1 Ben (Reed). Welcome to Friday the thirteenth. In the Mayan Tzolkin Calendar we just crossed the day of 13 with the Name glyph Eb, the Road. The Mayans believed that 13 was a magical number. I see the magic is in our ability to transition or crossover from one cycle into the next.
Awareness is a powerful tool. Through awareness we bring attention, and through attention we practice our ability to hold a thought, an idea, a vision.
Why do we bring this focus on Friday the 13th into our Mayan Daily Insight? Because change is in the air. We need not ask about what will come in the 2012 shift, because it is already here. Just with the 13th day in the number glyphs we are in the time with a foot in the past and a foot in the future. We are in the transition.
