Chuen and the Inner Child

Wednesday, February 11, 2009, is 12 Chuen (Monkey). As we drift away from the recent full moon I have to ask: which is worse, to be cast into a world of darkness, or to stand exposed by the light, even during the cover the night?  Sometimes what appears to be lunacy is only a fragment of the past trying to return home again.  Chuen and the Inner Child offers us a glimpse within what may be a distant aspect of self.

The child has the ability to bring innocence and wonderment into our world. The child will also drift away into their own story, even a world of fantasy to escape the stark gritty world around them. As I began to focus on this aspect of Chuen, the monkey, I looked at it as “taking the easy pathway”, but now I understand that this step into our own perception can be an act of self preservation. Sadly, we do not always have a nurturing environment, and like the child we cannot always just get up and walk away.

This message from Chuen today is delivered for one but can remind any of us. At some point we need to step out of that protective shell and back into the world. Even in the time of Noah the storm did eventually end. If we stay within the protective world of Chuen we appear to be safe, but that part of us will eventually forget how to grow.

Chuen comes to us in this round accompanied by the number twelve. It is time to take the hand of that inner child and step forward into the next cycle. Tomorrow we have a wonderful yet thought provoking combination with thirteen, a magical number in the Mayan calendar, and Eb, the road.

This posting contains a clairvoyant interpretation of the Mayan Tzolkin Calendar, a spiritually focused calendar, presented by Estee Taschereau through her venue YinYangPower.com. Private sessions by phone can be scheduled for a gentle retrieval of the inner child left behind.
