Monday, February 9, 2009 is 10 Muluc (Water) in the Mayan Tzolkin Calendar. We combine the energies associated with the 10, a day of completion with Muluc, the water. Water gives us a highly reflective viewpoint when the world around it is calm. We add to this the full moon, and the universe shines its own reflective influence into the mix with eyes wide open.
As I delve more deeply into the energy of this day I am reminded of the phrase, “On Earth as it is in Heaven”. Many have carried this thought in a religious stream, and seen it as an action outside of their influence. I see it also as our ability to have what is already within our reach.
This message trickled into my awareness several times in the past few days, convincing me of its significance. First in a phone session, stated clearly through the words I offered my client, “You know what you have, now can you let yourself have it?” Yesterday the message came again in a healing clinic, and as I guided one person to their state of self acceptance, a state of “welcome home”, I turned to see another person facing the same question. “Can you have what you hold within your hands?” Even the hummingbird lingered forever outside my window. Radiating her love for everything within her world, this small winged wonder skillfully held me captive within her presence. Yes, I must agree, a message of this caliber took more than a day to melt its way into my own soul.
Muluc is not just the flowing of energy and reflectivity of water, but the exploration of our yin side. Muluc is the act of delving right down into the very depth of our soul. Take that deep breath, close your eyes, and open your heart. The moon will gently guide you.
