Timing is everything

It is, in a sense, Kan is an opening of the eyes to new possibilities. Today the message received for this instance of Kan is to study the behavior of the groundhog.

There comes a time to examine the conditions of the world around you. This does not mean making the world of greater value than self. You see, the question always returns back home. Is this the right time for me to step forward? Is it safe, for me, to leave the safety of my burrow? Has spring finally come forth to greet me?

We have an expression: timing is everything. Perhaps this statement is a bit of an exaggeration, but it does hold some truth. Nature gives us much clearer clues, even though we can be surprised by a summer chill or a warm winter’s day. Within our own cycles, when do we make our next move? For everything there is a season.
