Monday, February 16, 2009 is 4 Cib (Vulture). Today we bring together the completeness of the number glyph four with a feeling of discontent. Cib, the vulture, reminds us that we cannot stand still for very long. If we were intended to stay in one place we would be rocks. We are animated, so full of life.
As I look out the window I am captivated by what I see. The entwining of the fog amongst the trees is amazing. I think of finding my camera, but I know so much would be lost. I look down the hill and notice motion in the pond. Two ducks are diving for their morning meal. Wave follows wave of ripples expanding across the surface. Is this what its like, the expansion of the universe?
I walk back to my computer to finish this mornings posting. Surrounding me is the familiar, and my mind needs the continuity. The chair supports me, and the warmth rising from the keyboard reminds me of my comfort. But my heart and soul remain the constant seeker, willing to step into the next step through the gateway of Cib.
We return to the focus on 4 Cib. We have the gift of memory, understanding what it feels like to walk, and breath, and taste. Those sensations repeat, and become a part of us. We also have the gift of the dream, and seek to embellish our experience, to heighten our awareness. Where do we stand, facing what we understand or looking into the unknown? Where do we stand? Where else but somewhere in the middle.
This posting contains a clairvoyant interpretation of the Mayan Tzolkin Calendar, a spiritually focused calendar, presented by Estee Taschereau through her venue YinYangPower.com. Private sessions by phone can be scheduled for a gentle retrieval of the inner child left behind.
