Thursday, February 19, 2009, is 7 Cauac (Rainstorm). We reach the peak of the 13 day cycle within the cleansing presence of the rainstorm. Caban gave us a taste for the greatness of our journey, and Etznab suspended us in its darkness so that we could form our own image or perception, not have it defined for us.
Today in the Mayan Daily Insights we meet Cauac, and with it we have opportunity to step into a greater awareness by letting go of what no longer serves us. If a feather is weighted down it cannot rise so easily in the wind. So it is with our travels as sentient beings on the world walk. We rise, yet our feet remain on the ground. What an amazing adventure.
