What part of you will travel on this road?

Thursday, February 12, 2009, is 13 Eb (The Road). We began this 13 day number cycle with Ahau and the “concept”. We end with Eb, “the road”. Where does life lead us? Even more important than the direction we take is the consideration of what will we carry with us into that next step. Yesterday Chuen reminded us to look for the aspects of self called the inner child, and reclaim those parts of ourselves. No matter who we are, or whatever our placement on the wave we call time, we always have within us the child qualities of Chuen.

We think about tomorrow. We study, and we build, and plant the seeds that are intended to feed us. Outcome can only be speculated, and we call this an “educated guess”. Which direction will the journey take us, can we anticipate each bend in the road?

As we teeter on the fence we find the dichotomy of that which we know and the great vortex of that which we don’t know. If we lean to the known we are able to make decisions that may provide us a greater chance of success. If you have only a handful of seeds, and months in the growing season, knowing when to plant and how to raise those crops is important. We must consider our mortality, and understanding the process that brings together time and mass (the growth of the crops) can impact our survival.

There is also the other side of the fence. How have we come to know what we know today without experimentation? We are explorers. We are dreamers. There are few limitations to our life experience. In a sense we are provided an open tablet on which to write our experiences and perceptions. In fact, many tools are provided to us to help us awaken to our true potential. Each of the twenty day glyphs that cycle in and out of our lives give us opportunity to revisit the qualities they contain. We are born of creation, and thus we are creators. Now is the time to step into our completeness and realize our abilities.

In the traditional description Eb is described as abundance and harvest.  My statement in this day is that the more defined your presence the more room you have to receive.
