Friday, March 6, 2009, is 9 Ix (Jaguar). The ninth day in this cycle takes the past two days of sight and interpretation, and draws the story into the light. In this world we have pieces we call days, thoughts, ideas, breaths. Each piece, the threads of our existence, can stand easily on its own without the influence of any other part. We may live moments as thought this is the only way, but we also have times when it all comes together. We are a compilation of past, present and future. We are also body, mind and spirit. Today with Ix we pull it all together, that wonderful feeling of being complete. There is also an expansion of self that comes through this realization.
So here we have the paradox: the chicken or the egg. Do we find our expansion by happenstance? Is it as if were to casually come across a abundant patch of berries, and expand our bellies as we satiate ourselves? Or is it the other way around? Perhaps through our consciousness we see for a split second that we are in fact the universe, and in doing so we become the genesis of our next breath, a space that cannot help but be complete.
