Wednesday, March 18, 2009, is 8 Cimi (Death). When we sleep there is (or should be) a feeling of relaxation. Our muscles release, our mind stills, our breathing quiets. Sleep gives us the opportunity to process the thoughts and experiences we have experienced through the day. Cimi brings a shifting in our consciousness and the chance to surrender not just our challenges, but also the stories that gave birth to our queries.
As I type this I am asked to offer the image of a battleground. Sometimes our will and ego hold on so tightly, and live in the belief that to let go is to give up. The wisdom of strategy will bring in the tools of both standing your ground and knowing when to retreat.
There is so much more to be said about Cimi, but for today we will focus on that almost hypnotic quality that unwinds the tangles we create. Tomorrow will come soon enough, and we will awaken ready to fight the good fight.
This posting contains a clairvoyant interpretation of the Mayan Tzolkin Calendar, a spiritually focused calendar, presented by Estee Taschereau through her venue YinYangPower.com. Private sessions by phone can be scheduled for a gentle retrieval of the inner child left behind.
