Wednesday, March 11, 2009, is 1 Cauac (Rainstorm). Todays post could not be written until its eve, in the light of bella luna. As I look out into the imagined darkness it is apparent that we are never alone, never lacking in the light. The interesting part of this is that the rainstorm does not force this awareness onto us, but presents it to us in its own obscure way. It is there for us in whatever form we take it.
Welcome to the darkness, welcome to the light. Today is the first day of a new 13 day cycle, and while we do not begin in the obvious does not mean that this day is anything less than powerful. The brightness of the day can overshadow us at times. We have our dreams, and the silly little creations that live in the recesses of our minds.
Today is the day to live those simple dreams, and we may find they are the greatest parts of our lives.
