In the Mayan Daily Insights, Sunday, March 15, 2009 is 5 Akbal (Night, House). Is it coincidental that after a hard day of work or play that we must rest? Is there coincidence that my internet connection was down because of snow on the dish, and I had to postpone my posting (as well as my writing) for this day until now? Instead, in preparation for the upcoming Healing Drum Retreat I laid out the story of the Mayan life cycle into nine parts, to fit within a nine sided drum I am building.
It has taken me a week of intent and focus to pull this story together into a flow for the nine sections of the drum. I am impressed with the outcome, and the information presented to me through this learning process.
Of the many concepts shared with me the one that caused the greatest interest is the night. Today is a day of night with Akbal. Coupled with the day number 5 we have a turn inward in order to bring greater awareness into our lives. The physical world is amazing, but without the consciousness of spirit and the quest for “what we feel but cannot see” we are incomplete.
In the stillness of night we are able to experience that which cannot be seen in the flurry of daily activity. This time is a blessing. Did you know that the physical growth in a child’s body only takes place during sleep? Think of this as a time for you to grow on another level.
This posting contains a clairvoyant interpretation of the Mayan Tzolkin Calendar, a spiritually focused calendar, presented by Estee Taschereau through her venue YinYangPower.com. Private sessions by phone can be scheduled for a gentle retrieval of the inner child left behind.
