Thursday, April 30, 2009, is 12 Muluc (Water). Yesterday we talked of the subtle nuances in the support of Lamat. Today follows in the same thread, only a different color. Muluc can at times feel overwhelming, and we know this through expressions such as “drowning in one’s own sorrows”.
Today Muluc would like to bring to light the tone we use with ourselves in our self reflective moments. We all have those times, when the world suddenly comes to a grinding halt, and we stare ourselves face-to-face. Those insightful times often come when we are trapped within a situation, like a ride on the elevator, or while brushing our teeth.
“When you come upon the stream be leery of the conditions. Do not drink from the stagnant waters. Look around and see that those waters do indeed support life. When you reflect upon your life do not drink from the harsh, stagnant beliefs. Look around, see that those thoughts encourage and support you as a creator and dreamer.”
Today is the twelfth day of this cycle. On this day we choose the best seeds for our journey into the next cycle, and fill our canteen with clear, cool water.
