Sunday, April 26, 2009 is 8 Chicchan (Serpent). Yesterday we talked about the seedling, letting it go and letting it grow. At times I know I have felt less than gracious feelings when asked to take charge of something, and then left to handle it without the tools I think I need or the support of those who asked. This type of event happens on the physical plane often, and can bring about expectations, resentment, or abandonment (something we will cover tomorrow).
We have this inate ability to mimic the ostrich and bury our head within the sand. “I’m all alone”, is the cry. How much truth is in such a statement? The universe is full, even if a large part of it is empty. (Computer programming basics: empty is not null, or empty does not mean non-existent).
Back to the ostrich: The point is that we are masters of perception, as we should be. The art of perception is the greatest of tools, but like any tool it can be mishandled.
Today is 8 Chicchan, a very earthy reminder that every step of the way is supported with great enthusiasm and passion. “Do you not feel the earth beneath your feet? Even as you climb into the more etheric, spiritual levels you still have steps along the way, and there is always something to support you, seen or not, realized or not. Where do you think that passion within your heart originates? It is an earthy overtone that is woven into your physical existence.” You are never alone, little ostrich, never alone.
Looking within our own soul can be a challenging experience, for we also carry the concepts, beliefs, and opinions of those we have encountered throughout our lives. Clarity can be found in a way that does not challenge or tear down, but in a flow that recognizes your inner truth and spiritual path, as well as the alliance we have with the world around us. Sessions are available by phone, online (chat) or email.
