In the Mayan Daily Insights, Tuesday, April 7, 2009, we find 2 Cimi (Death). Every inhale is followed by the exhale. This action is necessary, and the concept is built in to most everything in this world. We must be willing to let go in order to have more.
When we let go is there really anything lost? Walking away from a dangerous situation gives us the opportunity to create a tomorrow. Releasing a dark thought allows us to bring in the light. Removing the older trees allows space for new ones to grow.
When we let go of an old idea or belief we still retain the experience. Nothing is lost, we simply choose between the stagnant idea or the room for a new thought.
