Sunday, April 19, 2009 is 1 Edznab (Flint). The life of a child, in our best scenario, is filled with make believe and illusion. We support and even encourage the imagination, with stories that entrance and delight both young and old.
What purpose does our use of imagination play in our development? Our stories are filled with magical experiences, incredible accomplishments, and ideas that go far beyond the abilities we have in our physical reality. If our role as parents and teachers is to give child skills for survival in life, then why bring in something outside the norm?
“Stories give us possibilities. We must support the dream.” Edznab also reminds us to look beyond our illusions but the mirror has two sides. “Our stories are passageways to our potential, but don’t let the everyday stories weigh you down.”
Reach for your own stars, and find clarity in the connection between your thoughts, dreams and the world in which you live. Sessions are available by phone, online (chat) or email.
