Monday May 18, 2009 is 4 Manik (Deer, Hand). Children learn through their mistakes. Some of the trial and error experiences, like the one’s brought to light by Chicchan, lead to a reprimand. For some of us the inward look of Cimi can seem to be critical, though that criticism is generated from the inside out.
What comes in the breath that follows the reprimand? Can it be a warm embrace? Manik reminds us that in letting go of those things that do not act in our best interest there should always be recognition of our true self. We often forget the value of the creator and focus on only the creation.
How do we recognize the true self, and take that step, giving ourselves the encouragement to try again? If we look at that part of self much like a little child, no child will want to venture out into a hostile world. By giving ourselves that warm embrace we can coax that inventive part of ourselves into growth.
The next few days will continue this wave of replenishing. Cimi gave us one day of release, and the voice that echo’s back from the universe to replenish us takes three days. That sounds like a great deal to me. Ready, set, inhale.
