Thursday, May 21, 2009, is 7 Oc (Dog). With all of yesterday’s talk of the fluidity of time, Oc stands patiently with an ear to ear grin, with one simple thought. “There’s no time like the present”.
After four days of etheric focus it takes the patience and commitment of Oc to get us grounded again. Sometimes when we wake up from a daytime slumber we look around in disbelieve, saying, “what happened?” Sometimes we awaken quite startled, with a lack of clarity as to which side of the mirror is reality. Do we step away, and separate ourselves from the life we have been living? Do we pull at the threads, hoping that the whole tapestry will unravel? This is truly the most extreme example, but many of us can identify with an occasional glance in that direction.
For this reason we have Oc, reminding us to stand still for a moment, get a little more grounded, and look before leaping. No matter what time of day that awakening comes to you, remember where you stand. From that first breath of this new awakening, until that next eye-opening insight, you are writing the story of your life. Someday you will look back on this moment.
