In the Mayan Daily Insights, Tuesday, May 12, 2009 is 11 Imix (Alligator). Yesterday’s message was quite a mouthful, apple pun intended. Speaking of apples, there is this story about Eve and the apple incident. As all good stories go, sometimes over time our stories are subjected to interpretation and become burdened with too many thoughts. Do we play it safe, staying within the “norm”, or do we use our creativity and step outside the self created boundaries? How else do we learn and grow?
Today we have a mix of the transition from the current cycle as seen in the number eleven, but we have the appearance of Imix. I see this much like the preparation work prior to the birth of a child. You know that day is coming, but during this time the growth is internal and a little surreal. Life is there, nonetheless, as well as the excitement and anticipation.
There can be difficulty staying within the moment, seeking to move quickly into that next step, but this place, today, has all the magic. For today perhaps we should give thought to why we have creativity in the first place. Tomorrow we continue the story.
