It’s powerful, indeed

In the Mayan Daily Insights, Tuesday, June 2, 2009 is 6 Ik, the Wind. When we focus on movement and our ability to go forward we often think of the steps we take. The physical ability to propel ourselves forward is powerful, indeed, but it is not the only means by which we travel.

We step now from the obvious to the subtle abilities that are not seen but are known nonetheless. Our most common is our dreams; filling our world to the extent we can bridge the gap between spirit and body. We have vision, and our ability to transform. There is also the often silent unseen guidance and support we receive from the universe. When we look more closely at the two means by which we move we may change our opinion as to which is truly the most powerful.

The wind is an amazing force, and can carry us far. We need not rely totally on our physical acts to guide us, but can give at least some of the credit to the unseen means by which we create so much in our lives.
