Mayan Daily Insights: Our Qualities, Virtues, and Values

In the Mayan Daily Insights today Wednesday, June 10, 2009 is 1 Oc (Dog). This is the first day of a new day cycle, and though each day flows into the next in a seemingly endless way there must be reason for the 13 days.

Today we hear from Oc, the dog. Often Oc speaks of commitment, but on this day the message is “stand where you are”. Stand in your own light. Stand in your own being. Yes, this is about commitment, but often we look at commitment as a step or decision. Before we make any moves let’s clear the air and get a good grip on who we are. Oc says, “Stand in your light”.

This new cycle may not be exciting, well anything can be exciting, but its not necessarily going to bounce back to us saying, “good job, here’s your reward”. Sometimes there is hard work involved, and sometimes we don’t get those warm fuzzies from the universe telling us we’re heading in the right direction. Oc says, “stay focused, and know you are moving in the direction you intended”.
