Saturday, June 27, 2009 is 5 Manik (Deer, Hand). Today we will take a little turn and bring in the ancient wisdom of Buddhism. Today is a day of five, or the fifth day tone. Combined with Manik we have both movement and fragility.
The earth has the element of four, with seasons and directions. When we step into five we have activation. We have the five elements: water, fire, wood, metal, and earth. The elements react to one another bringing about movement. With movement we have the ability to create, or destroy.
Manik reminds us on this day that our dream is fragile. What makes a dream strong? Nothing makes it strong more than our beliefs and our nurturing of that dream. The dream remains pure through the thoughts we carry of it.
Call it conviction, or continuity, it is all the same. We hold our dream to and through the light, even with the impurities it contains. How do we know to do this? Perhaps by the hand of Manik, the gentle embrace in which we are always held.
The hand can touch, feel, and caress. The hand can also crush with great force. Know the power you possess through even just one of your abilities.
