Mayan Daily Insights: Our Qualities, Virtues, and Values

Thursday, June 25, 2009 is 3 Chicchan (Serpent). This cycle is in its third day, and at this point we bring connectivity between the higher level of self awareness that begins with Akbal, and infusing some of that spark into Kan, the seed. Today we fill that seed, giving our new dream the power to come about.

Given all the possibilities what would you give to any new life to get it off to a strong start? Chicchan says passion is one of the primal driving forces, and along with passion you have a host of other energies: faith, belief, trust, desire, willingness, creativity.

Would you give any new life even one of the stopping points we’ve faced? No, I would not think so, but you can offer the wisdom that can be found in the center of those lessons. You can bring in perseverance, commitment, focus, and the driving force that comes from the soul.

No matter who you are, no matter what you have done, or have not done, you have more to give than you could ever imagine. Look deep within yourself, and give your next step in life all that you have to offer.  The fire of Chicchan burns within each and every one of us.
