Monday July 6, 2009 is 1 Cib (Vulture). There is good reason that we do not begin our journey on earth in the adult form. We must learn to walk before we run, and we must also find our own interpretation of the common environment in order to express ourselves in our own voice. Likewise, the journey is easier and our steps have meaning when we know the direction we face.

Today is the first day of a new 13 day cycle. We carry the energy of the vulture into this day. Cib is often viewed as transformation, but before we even think about changing anything there is the spirit of purpose. Yesterday we brought forth Men, the eagle, giving us a sense of pride into our actions. Today we stand up and say, “This is who I am, and this is what I stand for.”

Years from now, should the question arise, what would your answer be? “Did you do the right thing?” may be the question. When we are truly aligned with heart, soul, will, spirit, eyes and even feet in alignment, the answer may be simple. When we turn the question in a different direction we may hear it asked, “Did you follow your dream?”. When we think, act and place our faith in the same direction then either questions will carry the same answer.
