Sunday, July 12, 2009 is 7 Ik (Wind). The number seven can be seen as the centerpoint of the day tone cycle, and with the influence of Ik, the wind, there is a tremendous amount of movement. There is little in this world that is impervious to the force of Ik. Yet we also see that while the wind may blow our hearts can be unmoving, our thoughts can be scattered within the smallest breath, and our focus can disappear like the wind that knocks us down.
There is the story of the sun and the wind, and in battle to see who was stronger the wind and the sun agreed that whoever could get the cloak off the man was indeed the strongest. The wind blew with great fury, but the man held his cloak even tighter. Finally the sun was given a chance, and gave him warmth In the most subtle of ways. The man then removed his cloak, on his own, without force.
