In the Mayan Daily Insights today Wednesday, July 15, 2009 is 10 Chicchan, the Serpent. Today is the tenth day in the 13 day cycle, with ten the number for manifestation. One of the questions that many ask is, “Why didn’t I get what I asked for”. When we ask, is it a self-prophacy? Is the focus on the journey, giving you a pathway, like the breadcrumbs of life leading you to that place where you will receive?
Chicchan shares with us this strange little twist on this day. No matter when we go we will always be the center of our own universe. In the same sense we cannot stand still when we ask to be a part of this world.
We can hold our ground as long as we want, but when we see something we want, pointing in its direction and say, “that is what I want” does the statement bring us any closer? No, we must give up that space we hold today and take a step in the direction that holds our intent.
