In the Mayan Daily Insights, Monday, August 24, 2009 is 11 Chicchan (Serpent). Yesterday we reached the day of manifestation, and what came about? Was it everything you had hoped for, or everything you could imagine? If not, then where did your day come from?
Chicchan comes to us on this eleventh day, the day of assessment, with a simple idea. Not everything that comes to us has to be directly related to us, but we always have our own place in the bigger picture. Even with those things that appear to be about anything except us we are still there in our consciousness, and if we can’t have it as deep as our consciousness at least we have it with our physical presence.
We can always ask the question “What’s in it for me” on a level that is only within ourselves. Why are you in the place you are right now? How is your world serving you? Are your steps along the way enriching you, fulfilling you, or helping you to learn or reach a goal? Even those moments when you feel secondary to the activities around you do serve you in some way.
Today is a great day to assess, and with Chicchan there to guide you we can bring the focus to your passion for your own life, and how you bring that passion into every breath and step along the way.
