In the Mayan Daily Insights, Sunday, August 16, 2009 is 3 Caban (Earth). Our last two days, the first two in this 13 day cycle, focused on self-fulfillment and the stripping away of our worldly cloak. What better way to step back into our interaction with the earth through Caban.
The number three is the art of fully connecting, including both parties involved and triangulating through that exchange to create a flow.
The earth, Caban, is full of so many sights and experiences. How can we enjoy the taste of the many wonderful foods if we are always full? How can we see the beauty in another’s eyes, or the four-leaf clover in the meadow if we fill ourselves too full of our experiences and turn them into filters?
Caban, the earth, has so much to offer, but we must it is difficult to penetrate that dense layer when we become so full of ourselves. Take the time to clear away the old stories and you might awaken to find something new.
