In the Mayan Daily Insights, Wednesday, August 5, 2009 is 5 Cimi, or Death. We have an interesting lesson in life, something we can experience and learn from many times over.
Yesterday we came to a point of completion, with the number four to represent the full cycle and the seasons. When we fill it with the power of Chicchan, so full of passion, what more can we ask for? Who would ever want to walk away from something so rich and powerful?
But life cannot stand still.
Today we step from the completeness of the four directions and four season into a more expanded consciousness. When we bring Cimi in to the picture this day presents itself as an amazing step into our higher spiritual power.
Today is the day we leave our “childhood” behind. Even if the rewards do not show themselves so immediately we still feel the sense accomplishment and the sense of power when we let ourselves challenge the comfort zone we’ve created.
So yes, Cimi is one of gateways to our higher consciousness. We have to let go of some of the ideas that have defined our world and have a little faith while we transition, but it all comes together. Have Faith.
