Mayan Daily Insights: One Day, One Insight

This next thirteen day-tone cycle has an interesting energy surrounding it. We begin with Men, the Eagle, showing us how important our contribution is to our world. The ending of this cycle is held by Manik, the deer. This kind hand tells us to be gentle with our own creations. The center-point of this cycle gives us the very start of it all, with Imix, the primal beginning, and Ik, the infusion of spirit into the world.

What comes of this cycle will unfold over time, and not necessarily in the containment of these thirteen days. What we have is a great vision of our own power to build a better world, starting from the inside. If we can dream it, we can create it.

Find what is important to you, and give it everything you can. Support your dream, and don’t linger in thoughts that tear that dream apart. Imagine that dream as if it has no choice but to come true. Make every act an act that empowers your dream. The only hope for the realization of your dream, any dream, is you.
