In the Mayan Daily Insights, Wednesday, August 19, 2009 is 6 Ahau, the light. Today many have awakened thinking, “everything is okay”. Calls have come throughout the day to confirm this, with the comment, “as soon as I stepped out of the house I knew everything was good”.
Ahau reminds us that even in stormy times we have a place that is calm. This is the knowing, being space of Ahau. The number six gives us a settled feeling, even though we know we cannot stay in this space. Tomorrow we start anew, and in this case it is the beginning formed through Imix.
Just know that we can step out of the story and find peace within. When we stand within the smoke screen what do we see? The light is there, with all its clarity, but we are mesmerized by the smoke.
Step beyond the illusions and you will find the light.
