In the Mayan Daily Insights, Friday, August 21, 2009 is 8 Ik, or Wind. This world we live in is a peculiar one. Yesterday we talked about beginnings, and that birth is not our start. Today we talk of the wind, the force that makes us move outward. Our consciousness still remains inward, considering the effect that everything has on us.
This is the way of life, having that push or drawing force that carries our attention outward, but always with consideration for what is on the inside. This is the yin and yang quality of this planet or as the Mayans saw the flow from light to night.
No matter how educated or comfortable we make ourselves, there will always be some unseen driving force that reminds us that we are here to live.
How do we make the most of this day’s spiritual influence? By recognizing that its all an act of service. The earth is here to serve the animating force of consciousness or spirit. Our individual consciousness is here to serve the earth as well, for we as spirit are the invisible force of Ik that drives us and carries us onward.
