Sunday, August 2, 2009 is 2 Akbal, or Night. We began this cycle with the breath, that temporal moment in time that is so small, yet as we pull those moments together they show us the bigger picture.
Today is two Akbal, that space that is so much larger than we could ever imagine from our perspective through our worldly eyes, but yet we know it, and we feel it. We have vision.
We think of ourselves coming to life through Imix and Ik, the body and the breath. While that is true that the coming together of body and spirit is amazing we must face the fact that it is only the beginning.
Look at the amazing things that come to life when we bring our vision into the world. This is truly the miracle, seeing the interactivity between our greater self and the moments we walk on this earth. While we can only see the little fragments we bring into our day to day lives the bigger picture does exist, and that is the message of Akbal.
