In the Mayan Daily Insights, Sunday, August 9, 2009 is 9 Oc (Dog). I tried to avoid writing today’s posting, putting it off for a couple hours, but I’ve made a commitment to sharing these insights. Some have questioned my using the Mayan calendar as the face for these spiritual insights, but I believe that no matter what vein or venue we choose it all still comes from the same heart and soul.
Why do I share my personal tidbit with you today? Well, it gets right down to the message for today. This is nine Oc, and the question that resonates today is, “Where do you place your loyalty?”
This question is not about taking sides, or placing any alliance outside of yourself. No, the question relates to your core beliefs and direction. It is about looking beyond your patterns and habits and measuring whether those routines support you, or lead you away from yourself. Without loyalty to our own better ways how can we ever fully connect or commit to another? Where do you place your loyalty? Today is a great day to renew that vow of support to be in and of your own heart and soul.
