Beyond our wildest dreams

In the Mayan Daily Insights, Wednesday, September 16, 2009 8 Lamat, the Rabbit or Star. Eight is know in numerology as the number for money. What more is money, other than a measure? How do we measure these days, by cost, time, or necessity?

Lamat is not a symbol for money itself, but for the underlying tones that makes money, or anything for that matter, a powerful tool for self enrichment. Since the early days of civilization the precious metals we valued in trade have been stamped with images of those who wish to be seen in power. Today we have removed all traces of the precious metals, leaving us only with paper notes that are filled with symbols, yet few can tell you the meaning of those symbols. What do we agree to when we give or accept currency?

Let’s step away from the chaotic energy that surrounds this worldly symbol, and bring back`into focus a clearer perspective of empowerment. The glyph of Lamat, the Star, is about harmony, as is the number eight. I see the flow of an infinity symbol two circles (or two combination’s of four) flowing in their own completeness but interacting in a harmonic resonance that expands from octave to octave in the harmonic scale. This flow gives us recognition of who we are, yet allows expansion, all within harmony and equal balance.

Over the next few days we will have a doorway open to resources that may be “beyond our wildest dreams” but those resources must always be in harmony with our worldly creations. Tomorrow we will explore the other side of this equation and then the relationship between the two sides. Beyond our wildest dreams isn’t just for fairy tales.
