In the Mayan Daily Insights, Sunday, September 13, 2009 5 Chicchan (Serpent). It takes a lot of desire and some guts to pull a dream out of its cozy etheric state and make it into something physical. There has to be some incentive attached!
Of course there is incentive. We would not have nearly as many expansive and pleasurable creations on this earth if there was no reward system. Today, on the fifth day, we bring in Chicchan, the master of rewards.
This very earthy quality carries passion as well as pleasure and gratification. Oh let’s not go there (although that certainly is a part), you know I am talking about the passion we feel for life itself. What a magnetic quality that is, to enjoy life to its fullest.
What significance does “day five” have in all this? It’s interesting to find Chicchan on day five, this signifies to me that there is a tie between Chicchan and the day to follow, Cimi. Welcome to the dichotomy, welcome to life on earth. More on this tomorrow.
